Nice topic as always V. Adversity and how you handle it dictates where you are in life good or bad. We all have had adversity in our lives...Some may look at Tiger and see or hear him blurting our "F" bombs but what very few will see is how hard he will work on the driving range and putting greens to get his game where he wants it to be. To me that speaks volumes... all too often we try to overcome adversity too quickly... Life is just that "LIFE" We need to constantly work on becoming better, so when adversity comes we can handle, if not defeat it. I think if we were more proactive preparing for our adversity's. They wouldnt be percieved as so bad....

As for Y.E. Yang.. he was prepared and when Tiger faulted he didnt choke and took advantage of the situation.. you know why.. he was prepared.

Hey Kid.. Madden 10 is out now man...

Hi Lilu! Thanks for stopping by. I don't think anyone wants to hear that their time is up, but I do agree that at some point the next person is, well, next.

Hey Kid... I appreciate your thoughts. I believe what you said is true... How will you respond to what comes? Thats where you separate champions from everyone else.

Adversity like death is life. On cannot live and grow without the experiences that both bring.

Tiger didn't perform up to his standards as he missed countless putts that he routinely knocks it.

Yang did what life prepared him to do. He worked hard, he sacrificed and when his preparation and perspiration met the opportunity, he was poised to take advantage of it.

Tiger presented him an opportunity and Yang was in a position to take advantage of it. Duel lessesons in this story. The "adversity" of Tiger and the ability of Yang to take advantage of Tiger's advirsity. Adversity must be embraced so that the opportunities that they present can be taken advantage of.

Adversity does not bring out joy but feelings of just the opposite. Adversity presents pressure and it is at that time that a decision must be made as to how you will respond.

It is at that time, a routine time that life is happening.

How will you respond to the pressure? Can you see the opportunity? Yang saw, was prepared and he conqurered. Tiger is back to the drawing board to correct his putting flaws.

What will the result be for those faced with the pressure of adversity? We all are pieces of coal in life. Whether a big lump or small. However we all have a common characteristic and that his - how will we respond to the pressure of adversity?

Will we remain a lump of coal and still be functional to adversity based off of a marginal response to life? or, Will we determine and control how we respond to life and allow the pressure to turn us into diamonds?

I believe that's a life call that we must always make on a routine basis when life rears its head.
